About Me

My name is Tori. I thoroughly enjoy creating artwork on the computer, riding my bike, testing my limits on the elliptical trainer at the gym, playing The Sims 3, and reading books.

Digi-Scrapping

If you have never tried digital scrapbooking, the following are some reasons you should at least give it a good shot:

1.  No messy desk (or table, or chair, or floor).
2.  I can reuse my bought items over and over, for the rest of eternity if I so choose.
3.  No glue needed; therefore, no drying time!
4.  If I don’t like something, I can change it with a few clicks…and see how it would look several different ways without having to worry about messing up my precious pictures.

Bike Riding

Bike riding gives you a great workout and has many health benefits!  Just a few months ago, I lucked out and got a Schwinn bike at Wal-Mart for almost have the price than what was marked because somebody placed it in the wrong bike display rack!  Invest in a sturdy bike, comfortable seat, and a nice helmet and take a ride around your neighborhood.  I promise that you’ll love it.

Elliptical Trainers

Check out this YouTube video on the benefits of an Elliptical:

Sims 3

This is a great game!  I really don’t see a ton of differences in the interactions of the Simians, but it is really cool to easily go downtown without enduring a long wait time.  I also love the body customization as the Simians really look more like real people now.  Discover The Sims 3 for yourself!

Reading

Not only can reading be highly entertaining and engaging to the mind, it also has several health benefits.  Currently, I am reading three different books.  I rarely complete a book before starting another because I read books in different venues.  I can rarely read a Ted Dekker book at work because I work with young children and many of the front covers are scary…some even have guns on them.  Some books make me cry, so I don’t want to be reading those in public since I love to truly “get into” the books I read.  Other books are just more appropriate for home – most of those books, for me, are informational in nature, and I don’t necessarily want everybody to know what I’m getting information on at a given point in time.
